OK - so I get home from work last Thursday at 7pm - now mind you I went to work at 7am. So I am a little tired and want to unwind. I am thinking of what to have for dinner, Peanut butter pasta, salsa on pasta, so Mitzy as you can see by Thursday I didn't have much in the house to eat. Well I change into shorts and I can hear kids screaming - and I am like - "where is this coming from" now I close the blinds in the living room so it doesn't get too hot during the day. I go to the window and low and behold there are 2 boys on the grass in front wrestling and screaming - one has a football the other wants it. Now let me frame the picture for you - the grass in front of this window is only about 3 feet by 5 feet. Its just there as a decoration.
So I let them scream and yell thinking that they are going to shut up soon.
Well at 7:30 when they are still yelling - Timmy has a mini breakdown - goes to the window and NICELY says - "can you take this up to the park" (Mind you we have a park the size of Gillette stadium up the street 2 minutes) The older kid looks at me and says "WHY" I am like - OH NO YOU DIDN'T JUST ASK THAT..... So still patient - I say, "I just got home from work, its 7:30 and play day is over - get away from my window"
I will digress for a minute. If I had asked why to an adult when I was a kid - I would have been hospitalized after. When we grew up - you respected adults.
So they go in their house - which is next door. I am in my kitchen and the front door is open, and I can hear the click, clock of shoes walking on the sidewalk, It must be the mother - and I can hear the kid saying, "Please mom, dont, dont...." So I am ready for the first meeting with the neighbor..... waiting... waiting.... she must have turned around and went home.
The kid must have said something like - they guy next door yelled at us. So she was going to come over and give me a piece of her mind... then he must have changed his story so she didn't come over.
Here are my points -
- They have a park they can play in anytime they want
- They can scream all they want in front of their house, in the mothers window
- They have been home all day - from 7-7 "PLAYING" they had all day to scream and yell
